is an award-winning writer, performer and filmmaker.

Having been launched into the limelight following the global success of his short film ‘Look Up’, attracting over 600 million views worldwide, Gary's work has gone on to inspire masses across the globe and has seen him appear on TV shows such as The Today Show, Good Morning America, BBC Breakfast, and many others - and was even parodied in the season finale of South Park.
 

‘Look Up’ is the most viewed spoken word video on the Internet, and went on to win Best Viral Film at Cannes Media & TV Awards, and two Webby Awards for Best Viral Film and Best Individual Performance. Gary was also awarded ‘Global Thought Shaper of the Year’ by the United Nations WTO for his work encouraging people to better appreciate the world around them. 

​Gary has since produced other spoken word pieces and short films with similar themes, often focusing on human connection, self-awareness, and social commentary. His work is characterized by a straightforward, heartfelt style that aims to inspire reflection and change in how people interact with both the world and each other. Gary now has over 64 million views and 117,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, with an additional 32,000 followers and 22 million views on his social media platforms.

In 2019 Gary was invited to give a TEDx Talk where he spoke about his time growing up in a retirement home, and what this experience taught him about appreciating life and accepting death.
In 2023, Gary was asked to write a spoken word poem for the legendary actor Brian Cox to perform live to 12,000 people at Wembley Arena in London, which was broadcast on national television on New Year's Eve.
 

Gary has performed live to over 100,000 people on 5 continents in venues as varied as city arenas, desert retreats, forest camps and mountain tops - and can be regularly found giving keynote talks, workshops & live performances all around the world.
